After shifting from agency management to internal marketing, AIC had enjoyed a steady organic growth for nearly two years but when the December 2024 Google Core Algorithm update completed their website saw deep impact and lost 35% of their organic keywords in six weeks.
A three-part strategy for regaining the lost space was developed with the close partnership of the AIC team and Ravenized. Together, we developed a plan that could optimize for local searches, AI advancements and SEO best practices. These are the phases:
In this case, we did a one-off project to improve the website and then began an ongoing SEO/AI Optimization Package. This package encapsulated content development, technical optimization, image optimization and an aggressive modernization of the website itself.
This project began with a full website overhaul designed to strengthen both usability and SEO performance. We refreshed more than 60 pages of content to align with local and AI optimization best practices, ensuring every page supported visibility and conversion goals. The site was restructured to improve flow, navigation, and scalability for multiple service locations. We also implemented updated schema and technical SEO enhancements across all existing pages to build a strong, search-ready foundation.
Following the initial rebuild, we moved into an ongoing SEO and AI optimization plan focused on long-term growth. Each month, we develop up to 15 new location-based service pages and continue refining 280+ existing blogs, optimizing around ten per month for improved ranking and readability. Our ongoing efforts include link building, technical SEO, and local listing management to strengthen authority. We also develop localized content strategies and blogs that expand reach and support sustained organic performance across markets.
