 ## The Problem

AIC Roofing had built steady organic growth for nearly two years after moving from agency management to internal marketing. Then the December 2024 Google Core Algorithm update hit. In six weeks, the site lost 35% of its organic keywords. The traffic and leads that came with them followed.

They needed a path back, and they needed it to be built for the way search and AI were evolving, not the way they used to work.

 

## Building a Path Back to Growth

Ravenized and the AIC team developed a three-part strategy together, designed to recover lost ground while positioning AIC for long-term authority in both traditional search and AI-driven results.

- Refresh and restructure the AIC website from the ground up
- Develop highly optimized location and location-service pages
- Launch a comprehensive SEO, AIO, and Local SEO proactive strategy
 
 

## The SEO Solution in Detail

The project started with a full website overhaul built to strengthen both usability and SEO performance. Over 60 pages of content were refreshed to align with local and AI optimization best practices, with every page supporting both visibility and conversion goals. The site was restructured to improve flow, navigation, and scalability across multiple service locations. Updated schema and technical SEO enhancements were implemented across all existing pages to build a clean, search-ready foundation.

Following the rebuild, an ongoing SEO and AI optimization plan launched to sustain long-term growth. Each month includes up to 15 new location-based service pages, continued refinement of 280+ existing blog posts (optimizing around ten per month), link building, technical SEO, and local listing management. Localized content strategies expand reach and keep organic performance growing across markets.
